About the Presenter: David Hutchison

Formerly of Equitable Life. After a 2-year stint as a sports broadcaster covering the OHL hockey and local sporting events in the KW, Guelph and surrounding areas, David began his career in the industry in October of 2009 joining a carrier in the Policy Owner Services Dept. After a year of learning the ropes, his affinity for working directly with people led him to the sales team where he took the role of Inside Sales for Canada and assisted the external wholesalers, advisors and MGAs across the country. In 2012, he was promoted to Director of Sales, Eastern Ontario and then to Regional Vice President in 2018. In February of 2021, David joined Equitable Life as the Regional Life Sales Manager in Southwestern Ontario with a focus of supporting the advisors and MGAs in the region, while partnering to help grow their business with the strong product offering and immense resources that Equitable Life provides.
