About the Presenter: Jennifer Mak

Jennifer Mak holds a Master of Arts in Labour Studies from McMaster University where her research focused on the workplace harassment of precarious, frontline workers in the realm of funded employment services. As a Human Rights and Equity Strategist, Jennifer’s consultancy focuses on helping organizations build and maintain healthy and safe work environments that are free from discrimination, harassment, and violence.  Through an intersectional and anti-oppression approach, Jennifer helps employers address and prevent discrimination, harassment, and violence by embedding human rights and equity into their systems via education, policy and procedures, conflict management, and strategic planning.
